The last activity before we left was to get everyone to balance on a platform over a log. It took us three attempts, but we did it!

Rebecca, Lucy and Sara took the younger kids on a nature hike to a waterfall as the activity for our “Nature and Plants” English class while the older kids (genki group, represent!) were mountain biking.

Kids in Japan are trusted with sharp knives; I’m pretty sure this could never happen at an American camp.

The bus ride took about 90 minutes. After the first 15 or 20, kids started dropping like flies.
